This is a nice customer marketing story. The Metrovista Printing Company located in Central Florida has decided not to chase after big name travel companies or entertainment venues with its marketing dollars. Instead, it is looking for commercial clients who need efficient cross-printing capabilities of offset and digital to equip them with those services that will extend their communications to a wide range of their customers.
Nancy Frank, Metrovista’s president said, “We thought long and hard about going after the marquee type clients most printers want to attract here in Florida but decided instead to diversify our service offerings across many different market sectors to hedge our risk.” So far the strategy has worked. Sales per individual market is up over last year’s sales. “That’s a very good indicator for us in such a tough economy” Frank continued. A recently designed piece celebrates and thanks its new and old customers for their business using the title, “You’re in Good Company.”
In addition to standard print marketing the company has delved into Social Media and is preparing an integration of print and internet marketing that began this year and will continue throughout 2010.
